Introduction to Co-management Network Resources
We appreciate your interest in network care. We believe the patient is the most important member of the team: were it not for the patient, none of us would be here. We further believe it is a privilege to support the patient's chosen lifestyle through surgical and advanced medical eye care. In order to do that in an optimal manner, we support a multidisciplinary approach in as much as it benefits the patient to ensure that eye care is provided by those who are best qualified to deliver each facet of care.
We support follow up care with the primary eye care practitioner, understanding that he or she has a responsibility to be knowledgeable and skilled in routine postoperative care and agrees that management of complications is the responsibility of the surgeon.
A network associate must be an actively practicing optometrist or ophthalmologist who is knowledgeable in the latest innovations in refractive surgery. He or she must be licensed to prescribe therapeutic agents and continuing education is an expectation. We provide learning opportunities for our network associates through observation and discussion.
A complete overview of the program and guidelines for care are provided within this section. Kindly complete the questionnaire and we will forward your password to access the remaining reference files.
