Laser Surgery Results

 

Surgical results reflect Dr. Demong's skill and the technology used at Demong Associate Eyecentre in Calgary, based on data gathered to the date of publishing. They are not a guarantee of personal outcome. Typically, those with high nearsighted corrections, farsighted corrections or large amounts of astigmatism pose the greatest challenges, take longer to stabilize after surgery and may experience higher enhancement rates.  Compliance with Dr. Demong's instructions will optimize recovery.

Surgical Results include:

  • Only those patients that Dr. Demong has personally treated
  • All who have undergone treatment with the Allegretto Eye Q or LADARVision in combination with the IntraLASIK procedure.
  • Those who have recovered for at least 6 months after the initial procedure
  • Those who may yet undergo enhancement for vision worse than 20/40

Surgical Results do not include:

  • Patients who have undergone an initial treatment at another Centre
  • Patients who had previous eye surgery such as transplant surgery, cataract surgery or Refractive Lens Exchange surgery
